OUR STORY

Starcruiser Studios is the personal creative venture of artist and designer Jeff Kollins. Established in 2013, our small shop’s first product was a packaged set of paper-cut nursery rhyme illustrations. We’ve come a long way since then, and we’re thrilled to continue our story, evolve, and grow our brand towards a new and exciting future!

 

At Starcruiser Studios, the magical worlds of folklore, cryptids, oddities and curiosities come to life, every day, in the most fantastic ways. Through in-depth subject research and sketch development, Jeff is able to transform these legends into the luxuriously detailed illustrations he is known and celebrated for. His easily recognizable “Victorian Illustration Style” (a term coined by the artist) is employed to accomplish an old-world/ antique look that has been weathered by the richness of an imagined history.

 

While these illustrations are the foundation of our collection, the inventory at Starcruiser Studios has developed to include a wide range of pretty nifty products at excellent price points sure to meet the most discerning tastes. We currently offer vintage style prints, 3D papercut light boxes, hand sewn plushies, silk screened T-shirts, maps, and more. Jeff works every day to create new art works for our catalog, so be sure check back soon...you never know what you’ll find. All items are made in-house, by hand, never rushed, and always finished to the highest standards. Old school all the way - we're simply obsessed!
